This is a leather purse I custom built for my mother to try best to meet her needs. The purse has a total of 12 pockets. There are two large middle pockets each with three inner pockets and one with a inner zippered pocket. There is also one outer zippered pocket and two outer pen pockets, one on each side of the purse, for quick and easy pen access.
The purse is made from an 2.5-3oz Italian metallic lizard print embossed cow leather outer and a 2oz white pearl goat interior. The inner pockets are made from a 3oz blue pig suede. The handles, base, strap, and D-ring holders are made from a 4oz chocolate brown deer leather, which is super soft. I used French sky blue Vernis edge paint, a German made Loxx closure, and Japanese made YKK Excella zippers with some custom deer leather tassels on each zipper pull. The whole thing was stiched together with some white Japanese Vinymo polyester thread.
I did most of the design work using CAD (Fusion 360) so I could print out my designs to transfer to the leather. All in all there is 60 individual piece of leather that were cut, glued, and sewn to assemble this purse. This was a really fun project that I think came out really nice and it made my mother very happy.
